I went to court due to a speed camera; this is copy of letter I sent below.
We have to accept the car was ours but photo doesn’t show either, at court the jp suggested did we think the car was cloned which may be the case, this is now going to trial, my husband nor I can recall driving the vehicle on the day. The jp told us we must now get legal advice, any help would be appreciated
I can help you with this matter. I have tried to call you to do a free advice call. The defence is under s.172(4) RTA 1988 and is based on using reasonable diligence to figure out who was driving at the time of the alleged offence.
It’s a matter for the prosecution to prove that it was your car in that place at that time.
