Driving Without Insurance

I live with my mum we have barely any income, I think my policy was cancelled and I got pulled for no insurance, I just want to know what the penalty is?

It’s 6-8 points on your licence and a fine. If they offer a fixed penalty the fine will be £200 if not it’s at the courts discretion but they will take into account your lack of income.

Are you a new driver? If you have been driving for less than two years I’m afraid that your licence will be revoked and you will have to do a full retest.
