No Insurance etc

No insurance/licence/tax

More detail about alleged offence: Asked to pull in by one of the great gardai. Asked me was I drinking, I said no, he asked me was I insured on the bike, I replied no, asked me do I have a licence? I replied yes.

But not on me, problem is my licence was out of date at the time off offence, should I go a renew my licence, or wait until the eventual ban a fines?

You will get 6-8 points for no insurance – so you might as well renew your licence whilst you are waiting for the summons. If you haven’t got any points already you shouldn’t get a ban.
