I Lied About Passing Driving Test

DRIVE OTHERWISE THAN ACCORDANCE WITH A LICENCE USE MOTOR VEHICLE NO INSURANCE

I HAVE NO FULL UK LICENCE AND I LIED TO MY HUSBAND ABOUT PASSING & THAT I HAVE FULL UK LICENCE. HE BUY CAR FOR ME AND HE INSURED ON HIS NAME AND MY NAME.

I WAS DRIVING AND I AM INVOLVED IN A TRAFFIC COLLISION. POLICE ARRIVED AND THEY ASK FOR MY LICENCE BUT I SAID IT WAS AT HOME. THEY SAID YOU PRODUCE IN 7 DAYS, BUT I CAN’T DO THAT.

MY HUSBAND IS UPSET WITH ME AND LEAVE ME. NOW I RECEIVED THE SUMMONS FROM THE COURT WHAT SHALL I DO, I DON’T WANT TO TELL ANY ONE?

I’m afraid that you will have to attend court and plead guilty to the alleged offences. You will get 6-8 penalty points and a fine. Has your husband been summonsed for permitting you to drive without insurance?

If so is he aware of the summons? You cannot keep this from him. If he has been summonsed I should be able to get the matter withdrawn against him and he will have a strong defence.
