How Many Points Before A Ban

How many penalty points must I have received to get a ban? I have 3 from aug-x, then 3 from dec-x and I now expect 3 more this week.

If you get 12 penalty points on your licence and all the offences are on dates within 3 years of each other then you will get a minimum 12 months ban under section 35 Road Traffic Act 1988.

By the sounds of it you will have a total of 9 penalty points on your licence and the offences will all be within 3 years of each other. You will need to be really careful and you will need to make sure you don’t get any more points on your licence.
