I Was A Named Driver

Question:

No insurance

Hi , I actually thought that I was third party insured to drive my dads vehicle with his permission but when the police pulled and gave me the producer note I called my insurance the next day and they told you are not.

I am a named driver on the policy but it says on the insurance certificate that the policy holders can drive another car with the permission of the owner and that you will be third party insured and I’m assuming this meant all four drivers because all are the policyholders otherwise we wouldn’t be insured on the car I’m so confused please help me thanks

Sorry but you will not have been covered to drive other vehicle – only the main policy holder can do that.
