Nudged Another Car In Car Park

Failure to stop and report

I need to know if I have any defence to the charges. I was aware that I had nudged another car in the car park, however I did not believe I had caused any damage.

Strictly speaking you only have a defence to this matter if you were unaware of the fact that there had been an accident wherein damage or injuries had been caused. If you are aware of the accident – but not aware of the damage then you don’t have a defence – but tend to have good success rates in getting the CPS to drop cases where this has been the situation.

Did you check for any damage? Have you got a summons to court? Have you got any points already? If so, how many? You will be at risk of 5-10 for this offence so the points can be onerous.
