Speeding
I was caught speeding at 48MPH in a 40 Zone, I was passing a very slow lorry and the speed camera was a mobile van set up to trap cars coming the other way, in other words I was got from behind! On the road in the direction I was going there are no speed trap warning signs.
Please let me know if any of this would contribute towards and argument against my prosecution?
I’m afraid there does not need to be warning signs in relation to the presence of a speed trap and overtaking a slow moving vehicle would not amount to a defence.
