Picking Up The Sat Nav

Question:

I picked up my sat nav whilst driving as my cradle had broken to see where I was heading i.e. the right way and a police officer pulled along side me and asked me to pull over.
I have pleaded guilty to the offence by letter in advance,
I was wondering if I have to attend court and what will happen if I don’t ?
Also if I do attend what will I be looking at receiving i.e. points, fine ?

You will get around 3/4 points and a fine in theory.

You should be okay pleading guilty by post but if the court are considering a ban they will give you a chance to attend and speak.
