Will my boss find out that I did it in the company van? What will happen to me?

Were you stopped at the time of the alleged offence? If so then there is probably no reason why your boss would find out because the fixed penalty or court proceedings will be addressed to you as the driver.

If you weren’t stopped at the time then a notice of intended prosecution will be sent to the registered keeper of the car (your boss) at the address to which the van is registered. This will probably mean that your boss finds out.
