My wife, on her way to work, pulled over to call work and tell them she would be late.
A police officer knocked on the window of her stationary car, engine was still running, and told her that she was guilty of using a mobile phone whilst driving.
The fine would normally be £80 and 3 penalty points.
Using a phone whilst stationary in a car is not an offence. The police have to prove that she was “driving” whilst using a phone for her to be found guilty.
If you would like me to try and get the ticket written off then I will be able to assist further for a fixed fee.
Come back to me if she wants to challenge this matter.
