Warning Signs For The Speed Trap

Question:

Does there have to be signs up stating that there are speed cameras in the area, I have been along the road I was caught on a number of times and there are no speed camera signs, temporary or permanent, along the length of the road. For information I was caught by a camera van.

I’m afraid that warning signs in relation to the speed camera are not required by law. The only legal requirement is that there are signs in relation to the speed limit itself – unless its a 30 limit and then the speed limit can be denoted by a system of street lighting.
